Maui Hawaii Magical Vacation

We're just back from Maui. I haven't even slept, but I had to write to thank you for helping to make our vacation so magical. This has been the best week of my life. Our trip was a dream come true for my family. I know you both worked hard to iron out the kinks that came up, and everything was just perfect for us!

I did a lot of research before I left, and I thought I knew what to expect, but Maui just blew all our expectations out of the water. It was just beyond anything I could have imagined! Paradise is truly the word.

Maui Hawaii Family Celebration

Aloha Melissa,

Thank you for your email. We had a wonderful vacation in Maui and enjoyed every minute. As always Caroline was a delight to work with in planning our family vacation. She was thoughtful in her suggestions, offered a variety of options and always focused on fulfilling our expressed needs.

Alaska Airlines: Absolutely perfect. Flights were on time and staff was friendly and attentive.

Fairmont Kea Lani:
Confusion at check in until it was determined one of the rooms had been put in Katina's name. Once that was determined, check-in was fine. For some reason, we had two breakfast buffet's included in the package and two were not? Not sure why this occurred as there were four in our party. Rooms: Nice size, clean, loved the roomy bathrooms, loved the large balcony. View was nice, we prefer to be much closer to the beach so would definitely prefer a villa. Pools were nice, small but still nice. Next time we will reserve cabana time and/or chairs on the deck pool. We were told the best chairs/cabana's are reserved up to a year in advance. So in the future we will reserve at the time we book the hotel. The food at the Fairmont was OK at best. We had our best meals at the Four Season and LOVED our meal and experience at Duo.

Favorite experience, for me it was playing golf at the Wailea Golf Course (Emerald Course) The rest of my family would say whale watching. The Pacific Whale Foundation does a terrific job, the boat we were on was roomy and they do not over sell making it a very enjoyable comfortable experience. The staff was great and provided a lot of wonderful, interesting information.

Wonderful luxurious Hawaii trip

Thank you for coordinating a wonderful trip for us! It was so relaxing to know that you'd already taken care of all of the details for us! The resorts were lovely and luxurious with amazing views and amenities. We enjoyed the Kahala slightly more than the Princeville Resort - mainly because of room layout. Of course, the dolphins at the Kahala were fun to watch too! We had fun taking trips to Princeville's shopping area and we had a good day of driving to go see Waimea Canyon as well.

All-in-all, we really enjoyed the trip! The down side was that it rained the whole time, but a rainy day in Hawaii is better than a sunny day in Texas! We loved the movie/tv Hummer tour we took - it was terrific! We also booked a Pearl Harbor/Island tour - so getting to see Pearl Harbor was an experience we will never forget.

Our Wonderful Maui Vacation

We had an excellent trip and can’t wait to go back!!!! Our trip surprised us at almost every turn when it came to the vendors. From the airlines to the rental car to the hotel was fantastic. I don’t think it could have been easier or had friendlier people to work with. I would love to tell you our single most favorite experience, but I’m not sure we can decide. The whale watching/snorkeling trip and the helicopter tour were wonderful. Both companies made us feel comfortable and valued.

We have a time share and are part of HSI and RCI, but we will definitely consider contacting you (McCoy Travel) to see about setting up another trip to Hawaii in the near future.

Happy Hawaiian Island Vacation Customer

Aloha. Thank you to you and your staff for all the assistance you provided during our recent trip to Hawaii. A special thanks to Joanne and Annette for all their help and patience.

Our trip was great and we did not experience any problems. The only thing we did not really like was the Maui Banyan. After a couple of nights, Annette arranged for us to move over to the Grand Wailea, which we loved. We really enjoyed Wailea and the time we spent in Maui. It was our favorite part of the trip.

We also really like the Sheraton in Honolulu. Nice property with an excellent location. Loved the pool!

Thanks for everything and I will be contacting you to plan another trip for next spring/summer.

Romantic Maui Honeymoon

Hi Mark,

I just wanted to write and thank you for coordinating our honeymoon in Maui for me and my husband. We spent an incredible week on the island, and I'm so glad that we had your advice and support while planning this trip. Hawaii really is an amazing place, and we had a fantastic time exploring, hiking, scuba diving, eating, and relaxing after our wedding. Hawaii Dream Vacation

Leo and I can't thank you enough for helping to make our Hawaii dream vacation so memorable. It's been like having our own personnel guide, the way you have left us little gifts and amenities along the way. The book about Waimea is lovely and makes a wonderful keepsake. Hawaii Vacation

Hello,
Happy New Year to you and your staff. First of all, forgive my late response…coming home from the trip of a lifetime and following it up with Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year is a bit daunting, and believe me—takes up A LOT of your time!

I do want to let you know that the service that Michael Byrne provided us was paramount. He answered every stupid little question I had, and trust me—I had a lot of them. He had us set up with a great hotel—we stayed at the Hyatt in Maui and thought it was just lovely. The absolute only problem was one, little cockroach…but hey, we’re in the tropics and that happens, right? Other than that, I thought I was a queen. The staff there, the food there---all of it—absolutely beautiful. Our plane ride was uneventful…which is the best you can ask for in a plane ride—we even arrived a bit earlier than we were supposed to, so that was great as well.

Michael put us in touch with Brenda LeBrun (to help us reserve activities) —who was absolutely WONDERFUL!! Brenda and I hit it off like two old friends. She is great—and she knew the island inside and out. She recommended and booked awesome things for us to do. We ziplined, went horseback riding, took a road to Hana tour, went snorkeling—just about every great thing you could do on Maui. She booked us with a great snorkeling tour…never in my life did I see so many beautiful fish! Not to mention swimming around with the turtles at turtle-town…that was a real treat, something that will always be remembered! I’m not sure of the tour company that took us through Hana, but our guide…her name was Pu---was absolutely fantastic! She shared so many great facts and stories with as she drove us through the beautiful scenery. We learned so much about the island and the native Hawaiian people from her, it really was so much more than we expected.

I will be sure to log onto TripAdvisor.com and share all my experiences with your staff and suppliers…and believe me, as soon as we can---we will be contacting Michael again and coming back to Hawaii for another visit!
