Tahiti Wedding Ceremony Vacation

Hello Faye,

First, we had the best trip of our lives! Our Tahiti Wedding Ceremony was outstanding-we loved it so much!!!

The highlights of the trip were:
-the airline was great. They served 2 meals plus snacks and drinks and all of the headphones, pillows and blankets came without charge.
-The Sofitel resort is AMAZING! We visited other locations during our adventures and nothing looked nearly as amazing! Our overwater bungalow was like something out of a dream. The staff was great and friendly (though there was more of a language barrier than we had anticipated...it made it fun).
-Our wedding ceremony. It was intimate, beautiful and more than we could've imagined
-The motu picnic was our favorite excursion during our stay (and we booked several others while on the island). The company you booked us with were really cool people. They made us feel like we were hanging out with family.

All in all, we loved our vacation. We have recommended the islands as well as the travel agency to many of our family and friends already. We really would like to thank you for all of you help. We've attached a couple of pictures from our ceremony in case you're curious.

Thank you again for all of your help!!!

Heartfelt Fiji Vacation

Hi Mike,
Just thought I’d let you know that we returned back from our trip to Fiji a couple of nights ago. We had a FABULOUS time and I wanted to thank you for your help with our trip.

We continue to love Fiji and I plan to hopefully start a charity to help with some additional school funding. At a minimum, I plan to gather up a bunch of supplies and ship them over. We met a gentleman from the State Department who was at Matangi while we were there who is building the US Embassy in Suva who is going to help with the logistics. He will remain in Fiji until the Fall. The kids are truly amazing and they need some additional support. It would be so great if more people sent supplies to Fiji for the schools & children.

Glad you had a nice trip.

Turks and Caicos Vacation

Aloha Melissa & Sue,

We had a wonderful trip to Turks and Caicos. Thank you very much for guiding us through the process; we had absolutely no hang-ups or difficulties. I will send you a few pictures soon. The location and layout of the resort was my favorite aspect; I have never spent that many days with such a minimal need for shoes. The food and the staff were also great. We will definitely be planning future trips to Grace Bay; I can't wait take the kids on the sailboats!

Amazing Matamanoa Island Resort Fiji

Sue,
Our honeymoon was amazing. Everything couldn't have gone smoother.
Matamanoa Island Resort was amazing. It is exactly what we wanted. The beach was perfect, the snorkeling was out of this world (Bekki said it was better then the Great Barrier Reef), the staff couldn't have been more friendly, the bures were perfect, and the pool was awesome. I would suggest that people do a la cart rather then a meal plan. The food options are way better. Other then that, I would highly recommend this resort. Bekki and I had the time of our lives.

Thank you so much for all your help. You really made our honeymoon go smoothly and without any hitches. The only bad thing was it only lasted a week.

Thanks again.

Fabulous Hawaii Vacation Reviews

Aloha Faye,

We are back and are getting settled in after the trip to Hawaii and then my trip to Calgary to visit my Mom.

We had a wonderful time and the help that you provided on every aspect was greatly appreciated. Especially given that our scope changed a couple of times in the planning process! Thanks also for looking in to the flights to return Mary Lynn one day earlier which enabled us to take her to the airport just before her flight rather than having her wait around for 5 hours at the airport. Also thanks for checking on the flights to Calgary.

We really liked staying at the Palms of Wailea. My mother in law was delighted with her garden view condo. The garden view condo that we were initially placed in was pretty dated and we didn't care for the busy street that we looked out on. After the first night we moved to an ocean view condo (for an extra fee) and this was amazing. Gorgeous views of the ocean and whales. The condo was also more up to date and not tired-looking. We would definitely stay here again. The condo was extremely spacious especially after our travels in Europe!! The location was great with the beach being just a short drive away and great shops and restaurants (though pricey) at the Shops of Wailea. We also enjoyed the live entertainment there on Wednesday night.

I thought that groceries were very expensive but was advised to get a special temporary card at Foodland that gave me large savings. We also did a snorkel trip, Luau at the Marriott and did a short trip to the Botanical Garden, stopping at a golf course and having lunch at a Cafe o Lei on the way back (this was great).

Thanks for all that you did to make our holiday perfect,

Best Regards,
R. Yose

The Fairmont Kea Lani was delightful

As I sit here in my Signature "Kilohana" Suite, watching humpback whales come flying out of the water like giant torpedoes, I am once again in awe at how wonderful a stay at this hotel can be. All the rooms are suites at the Kea Lani, and I LOVE these suites (Signature) with the extra square footage in the suite, the bigger balconies and more views! I especially love laying in the comfy bed looking out to a perfect Wailea ocean and listening to the sound of the waves on the shore. I have been here for 3 nights with many of my staff and their families for our annual company weekend. We call it our McCoy Travel holiday party, always planned in January after the holiday rush before the winter rush (February - Spring Break). It's a perfect time of the year with cooler nights, less wind, flawless mornings and spectacular sunsets. Oh, and the whales!

We all enjoyed mouth watering dinner at Ko's on Friday night. It is great to have everyone together including the kids. We spent Saturday and Sunday lounging around the pools, swimming and listening to the humpback whales song underwater (in the ocean) and letting the stress of the last very busy 4 weeks just melt away. On Sunday morning, I rented a kayak and ventured out on the placid ocean hoping for a whale encounter of the close kind :) A mom and baby did come by fairly close to me and it was a thrill. Sea kayaking on sit on top kayaks in the morning hours here is stellar. I had 2 excellent turtle sitings and gave my upper body a good work out (my arms are sore today!).

Last night I enjoyed Nick's Fish Market and met fantastic people at the bar. Nick's is known for creative food and amazing service. It never fails, that I meet the most fun and wonderful people whenever I go in. I order the "original" escargot (it's not on the menu, you have to ask for it by name). Soaked in garlic butter with a pastry puff over the top. Yum Yum (I just got hungry again).
Well, it's time to head to the office. We say, a bad day on Maui is better than a good day anywhere else! Going to work, although we are so very busy these days, is a joy.

In the "old days" they use to say Maui No Ka Oi ( Maui is the best). Now they call Maui the Magical Isle. These both work for me and have for 35 years. From our beautiful beaches to the top of Haleakala at 10,000 feet, and everything inbetween, this is a lovely island in a stunning chain of Islands. The Islands of Aloha, that have had me smitten since the day I got off the plane September 12, 1974!
